Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NodeGhost ("we," "us," or "our") is a decentralized AI inference routing service operated as a sole proprietorship in the State of Nevada. We provide access to AI language models through the Pocket Network (POKT) Shannon mainnet via an OpenAI-compatible API.

2. What we do not collect

We are explicit about this because it is the core of our value proposition:

• We do not log the content of any AI request or response
• We do not store your prompts, conversations, or any generated text
• We do not train any models on your data
• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not use your requests for advertising purposes

Your AI requests are routed through the POKT decentralized network. NodeGhost never logs request content. Requests reach your chosen model provider through independent node operators — NodeGhost cannot control or audit what those operators do with relay data, but we can guarantee that no identifying information about you is attached to requests by our infrastructure.

3. What we do collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

• Account information — email address provided at signup, used to send your API key and service communications
• Usage metadata — request count, timestamps, and API key identifier for billing and rate limiting purposes. This never includes request content.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details.

Usage metadata is retained for 90 days, then deleted. Email addresses are retained for the duration of your account.

4. Third-party services

NodeGhost uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Pocket Network (POKT) — decentralized infrastructure routing. Requests are processed by independent node operators on the POKT Shannon mainnet. POKT is a public blockchain; relay metadata (not content) may be visible on-chain.
• Model providers — when you use a custom endpoint or native POKT stake, requests are forwarded to your chosen model provider (OpenAI, DeepSeek, Groq, etc.) for inference. The provider's own privacy policy applies to their handling of request content. NodeGhost never stores your model provider API key.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for API key and welcome emails.

5. Cookies and tracking

NodeGhost does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts on this website. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services.

6. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), API key authentication, and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your API key has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

7. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that usage metadata retained for billing purposes may be kept for the duration of any active dispute or legal obligation.

8. Children's privacy

NodeGhost is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify active customers by email.
